Let me start by telling you how it all started. In 2016 I was invited to a wedding at a very nice venue in Manchester, after a lovely meal and amazing service by the venue we went into the reception area where there was a dessert cart (just ice cream scoops) and a fruit display. It looked like it had been put together last minute with no thought gone into the presentation, the staff didn’t seem enthusiastic about the products they were serving either, I later learnt that it was an outsourced company organised by the family not the venue.
A few weeks later I was invited to another wedding, this time in Bradford. Once again, the food at the venue was amazing and the service was brilliant however when it came to the desserts – same again the desserts had been provided by another outside company – the offering was limited and simple, but at least the staff for this company were smiling this time!
That’s enough! Can’t take it anymore so I started looking into opening a dessert company something small to start, so in January 2017 we set up Tasty Treatz Events, with nothing but an ice machine, I hit the road doing just Hawaiian shaved ice. I wanted to target local events in the northwest like birthdays, wedding, mendhis and events in the local area. By August 2017 we had to expand because our success and passion for the dessert game was growing. So, in late August we did our first major event at the Bolton food festival. The people that booked us for this event asked us to do our new ice cream rolls and Hawaiian shaved ice for them and they loved it, so this is how it all started.
BUT that was back then. Now in 2019 as we have grown and added new services, we offer so much more, we have worked in venues throughout Northwest, Yorkshire, midlands and London. We now offer over 25 services which include live fun food stations such as live ice cream making, Hawaiian shaved ice, waffles, pancakes, popcorn machines and many more. We also have fruit displays – all our fruits are cut to eat not just for a display. Tasty Treatz also offer you other services such as fireworks, smoke flares, magic selfie mirrors and Dhol players.
We have made Tasty Treatz Events a one stop party shop – we take away all the stress and can provide numerous services at your event! Tasty Treatz Events have a variety of fun foods from salty selection of Indian finger foods to fresh ice cream rolls made on our triple pan ice cream roll machine. We love what we do and our top-quality product and service will make your event that little bit more special and unique.
We also offer personalised merchandise such as customised cakes, cupcakes, cake jars and more, baked by our very own in-house bakers!
We make sure your events run smoothly as all our staff are in matching tasty treatz events uniforms, they have training up to a level 2 in food hygiene and we as a company have public liability insurance for peace of mind.
